What good looks like
Kenyan retailers sell through supermarkets, branches, e-commerce and delivery partners at the same time. The target is a single customer, product and stock record across all of them, and a sale that is in the ledger and with KRA the moment it happens.
What we deploy
Dynamics 365 Commerce for multi-channel retail on Finance & Operations, and RetailFlow 365 for retailers on Business Central, with Software Dynamics products for the Kenyan layer.
How a retail programme runs
We start with the store format that carries the most complexity, not the simplest.
Dynamics 365 Commerce or RetailFlow 365
Commerce suits retailers with several channels, many stores and a Finance & Operations core. RetailFlow 365 suits retailers on Business Central that need tills, store stock and promotions without the full commerce platform. Channels, store count, entities and integration load decide, and we recommend on those facts in the first workshop.
Kenyan compliance at the till
KRA eTIMS requires invoice data to reach KRA, and a retail till must keep trading when the connection does not. DigiTaxFlow 365 submits from inside posting, queues receipts offline and sends on reconnect, so the ledger and KRA agree and the store keeps selling.
How an engagement runs
It starts with a 45-minute consultation, then a discovery and fit-gap workshop on your own processes. You receive a written fit-gap and a phased plan before a programme is agreed. Four phases follow, each with something you can use and review.
Discover
Process workshops, data audit, and a fit-gap against the standard product.
Design
Solution blueprint, integration map, and the extensions we will actually need.
Deploy
Configuration, migration rehearsal, role-based training, UAT and phased cutover.
Support
Hypercare, managed services, client portal, scheduled optimisation reviews.
What drives the cost: users, legal entities and currencies, integrations, data migration and the gaps found against standard. See how pricing works or run the three-minute readiness score.
Frequently asked questions
Can Dynamics 365 Commerce run in Kenya?
Yes. Dynamics 365 Commerce is deployed with the Kenyan layer: eTIMS at the till through DigiTaxFlow 365, local payment integrations and Kenyan payroll and tax in the ledger.
Does the till keep working offline?
Yes. The point of sale is designed to continue trading offline, and eTIMS receipts queue and submit on reconnect.
Which payment methods can be supported?
Cash, cards and mobile money such as M-Pesa are integrated per provider and mapped in the Design phase.
How is the online channel connected?
E-commerce orders share the catalogue, prices, stock and customer record with the stores, and flow into the same ledger. Marketplace and delivery-partner settlements are handled through FulfillmentFlow 365.
How do we start?
With a 45-minute consultation, then a discovery and fit-gap workshop on your stores and channels. You receive a written fit-gap and a phased plan before a programme is agreed.
