What is different about Ethiopia
The Ethiopian calendar and a fiscal year that begins in July on the Ethiopian calendar mean statutory documents and periods do not align with the Gregorian calendar the standard product assumes. The birr and the foreign-exchange regime have been through significant change, which affects revaluation and reporting.
What we provide, and what we do not claim
Dynamics 365 Business Central or Finance & Operations as the group ledger, with calendar and period design done in the Design phase and local statutory reporting delivered as configuration or extension. Microsoft does not ship an Ethiopian localisation. DigiTaxFlow 365 does not list an Ethiopian connector, so we scope tax-authority submission with you rather than claim one.
Who it suits
Regional groups and international organisations with an Ethiopian entity that need consolidated reporting, development and donor-funded programmes that need grant and procurement control, and manufacturers in industrial parks that need costed inventory.
Delivery
Remote-first from Nairobi, in the same time zone, with on-site workshops in Addis Ababa at key milestones. We would rather scope Ethiopia carefully in a discovery workshop than quote it from a template.
Frequently asked questions
Does Dynamics 365 support the Ethiopian calendar?
Not out of the box. We design the calendar and fiscal-period handling in the Design phase.
Do you have a tax-authority connector for Ethiopia?
No connector is listed on the DigiTaxFlow 365 product page. We scope it in discovery.
Can an Ethiopian entity report into a Kenyan or international parent?
Yes. We design the translation of calendar, currency and chart so group reporting is repeatable.
Statutory rates, filing rules and mandate dates are set by each country's authorities and change; we confirm the current position with you and your local adviser before configuration. Connector availability is stated as on the DigiTaxFlow 365 product page.
