The usual shape of the problem
A core SACCO or banking system handles member transactions; finance receives exports and journals them by hand. Branches close at different times. Regulatory and IFRS reporting is assembled from spreadsheets. Supervisors and auditors ask for the line behind the number and nobody can produce it quickly.
What we put in
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central as the general ledger, with AccountingFlow 365 as the accounting hub. It receives sub-ledger activity from core banking, lending and insurance systems and posts it to the ledger under controlled rules.
Regulators and the ledger
Deposit-taking SACCOs are supervised by SASRA, and banks by the Central Bank of Kenya. Return formats and reporting dates are set by the regulator. We design the chart and dimensions so that regulatory returns are a report from the ledger, not a rebuild, and confirm specific returns with your finance team and auditor in discovery.
Frequently asked questions
Do you replace our core SACCO system?
No. The core system keeps running members, loans and deposits. We build the accounting layer behind it.
Can you integrate with our core system?
Yes, through its export or API, mapped in the Design phase and tested before cutover.
Can you produce SASRA returns?
We design the ledger so returns are reportable. We confirm the exact return formats with you and your auditor in discovery.
